Biography While attending Palm Beach Currumbin State High in 2002, Hannant played for the Australian Schoolboys.

In 2005 Hannant made his debut for the Sydney Roosters against the Wests Tigers at Sydney Football Stadium in round four.

In late 2005, Hannant moved to the Broncos for the 2006 season and enjoyed premiership success. The retirement of Shane Webcke following the Grand Final left some large shoes to be filled in the Broncos' front row and Hannant was the perfect replacement.

Hannant impressed Queensland Origin selectors with his outstanding form in 2008 and as a result was selected on the bench for game one. He scored his first try in Game 2 at Suncorp Stadium, which Queensland won 30-0.
