Biography Paul Langmack joined Canterbury in 1983 as a lock forward.

Paul progressed quickly through the grades to be a regular member of the reserve grade team before receiving the opportunity to play first grade against St George when Jim Leis was injured.

Paul played in the 1983 Preliminary Semi-Final against Parramatta as a replacement.

In 1984, Paul started the season in reserve grade but was promoted to first grade for Jim Leis mid-season. He was a regular in first grade for the next seven seasons and played in the Premiership winning team against Parramatta.

In 1985, Paul played in every match including the Premiership winning team against St George.
