Biography Mick Potter joined Canterbury in 1983 as a centre.

Mick became a regular member of the reserve grade team and was moved to fullback. He received the opportunity to play first grade against Balmain when Greg Brentnall and Greg Sankey were injured.

In 1984, Mick returned to first grade when Chris Mortimer was injured and became the regular fullback for the next four seasons. He played his only game for NSW and played in the Premiership winning team against Parramatta.

In 1985, Mick played every game of the season including the Premiership winning team against St George.
