Biography Brian Davies emerged as a class prop playing for Brothers in the Brisbane competition in 1948.

He played 31 games for Queensland from 1950 to 1958. Brian played 27 tests for Australia and captained Australia in the 1958 series against Great Britain.

He played in the 1952-53 and the 1956-57 Kangaroo tours. Brian also played in the 1954 and the 1957 World Cup.

After a long and successful career, Brian moved to Sydney to play for Canterbury. A goal kicking prop forward, he was captain from 1959 to 1961, captaining a total of 46 games.
